Our family story began in 1992 . . .

Clinton House is a small 24 bed nursing home, established in Shawsburn Village, Larkhall, more than 30 years ago, by our Managing Director Jan Welsh, with a simple belief, that YOU deserve to be cared for in a place that provides, Dignified, Quality, Care, where you feel valued, respected and truly at home.

We have remained a family-run since the day we opened, and what began with one generation continues with the next, with Director Moira McMahon, guided by the same values, standards, and sense of responsibility for those entrusted to our care.

We know that choosing care is rarely straightforward and it is filled with so many emotions but after 34 years our advice remains the same “Trust Your Gut”, you will know instantly when you come through our doors, if our home is the right choice for YOU or YOUR loved one.

Care should never feel like something that has happened to you or your loved one. It should feel like a decision made with clarity, compassion and confidence.

At Clinton House we have designed a care pathway, with our Short Term Restorative Respite Stays leading to Long Term Nurturing Nursing Care that are 24hrs Nurse Led.
